The Lodge at Torrey Pines was built with a specific construction and color scheme. It’s modeled after
the Gamble and Blacker houses in Pasadena, California. Two of the earliest examples of the early 1900s Craftsman-style architecture by Greene & Greene. With its post-and-beam, tongue and groove craftsman style design, we had to create a website that captures the essence of this beautiful hotel, and one that connects with its visitors, helping them to realize its comfort and uniqueness.
Staying committed to the brand
During the initial conversations it was important for the owner’s vision to really come through on the website.
People visiting the hotel were visiting from many different parts of the world. From famous actors to sports athletes to traveling business men and families with children. Our objective was to accurately translate the brand to its audience and convert website visitors into hotel guests. We stayed committed to the brand and it’s ultimate goal.
